Vertical Machining Centers (VMCs)
Vertical machining centers, like our Haas VF2 Mill, are extremely valuable to machine shops specializing in on-demand machining and prototyping due to their versatility and expedited setup times. On these machines, the spindle has a vertical orientation that is ideal for machining precise flat surfaces, cavities, and unique geometries or contours while adhering to strict tolerances. VMCs are predominantly used to machine small components but offer incredible flexibility for our operators to complete other milling, drilling, or boring operations required by aerospace, defense, and other industries.
